Ladakh: Amazing Coldest Place In Jammu and Kashmir

My Best Friend Jyoti has just visited Ladak and She has sent me few amazing photos of Ladak.

Ladakh or La-Dags, meaning "land of high passes". Ladakh is a place where travelers attracts with its natural scene & senery. From all over the world, who come seeking glimpses of a life ordered by Himalayan Buddhism. It is a region of Jammu and Kashmir, the northernmost state of the Republic of India. A land of ancient monasteries, austere Buddhists, friendly locals, and stunning landscapes, Ladakh remains cut off from the rest of the world during the winter months. The Karakoram and the Great Himalayas - world’s two most powerful mountain ranges make Ladakh a much preferred adventure destination.

Mount Abu: Beautiful Hill Station in Gujarat

I recently visited Mount Abu Hill Station in Rajasthan.

Mount Abu is a beautiful hill station in Rajasthan, India. It is 187 km away from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Mount Abu is more that just a summer retreat. It huddles among the rocks on a 1,220-m granite table mountain at the far southwestern end of the Aravalli hills. Mount Abu is built around a lake and is surrounded by forested hills. Mount Abu is home to a number of Jain temples. Mount Abu's stunning array of exquistie Dilwara Jain Temples, dating back 11th–13th centuries, make it a popular pilgrimage centre. It was once a part of the Chauhan kingdom of Rajasthan and served as a summer resort for the Rajput kings of the region. During the British rule in India, it was the favorite summer destination of the British, who came here to escape the dusty, dry heat of the plains particularly Rajasthan.

There are 330 million gods and goddesses of the Hindu pantheon used to visit this holy mountain. So Mount Abu was the home of many saints and sages in the old days. Mount Abu has been home to many sages and saints. Most famous of them was Sage Vashishtha who is believed to have created four Agnikula Rajput clans from a fire-pit by performing a 'yagna' or fire sacrifice, to protect the earth from the demons. There are various interesting treks and picnic spots close to Mount Abu and The natural and the man made beauty come together to make Mount Abu a place worth more than a visit.

What i can say more about Mount Abu? Just go there and visit it with your family, friends and relatives. I enjoyed very well with nature is there on the earth at Mount Abu. But don't forget your camera otherwise you will miss the best sites to capture pics of nature. Love to be there. Missing those great days at Mount Abu.

Just go in a flashback and try to recall how many times have you been ‘preached’ of how to lead you life? The journey stretching from kindergarten to your karmbhoomi (workplace), how many times have you been trained and strained that you should live this way or that way? If one can pierce through all this happenings throughout the life, then it is very discernable that a man (read human being- no pun intended) is always undercurrently told to man himself.

Now the question arising is that do we need to man ourselves always? Though, in this ever-argumentative world, the answers would always be great in number and shred in understanding.

Aristotle says that “Man is a social animal”. But, world history witnesses that man has been a social and an animal both, and that too at times. This history keeps repeating itself till date.

According to many sociologists it is in the larger interest of the society if a man is socialized as per the comfort and acceptable level of the society. But again in this world of approximately seven billion people is it possible to have unanimity in every issue? The answer is NO. Why? As everybody’s social, economic, academic, atmospheric and experiential experiences are different than that of others. So how would it be possible to evolve a consensus for every matter that affects our life?

Okay without getting much interrogative lets go back to business. As per my understanding, I can say that to man a man is a misnomer as one need not be manned. Only thing we have to bear in mind is that how to be relevant, acceptable and sociable in this oxymoronic society so that every one of us can lead his life the way he wants, but without endangering the freedom of others.

So man…don’t man… just be sane…..

Me, My Life and My Thought

Hello everyone, my name is Urmila Koshti, Originally from Ahmedabad City, India. I'm 22 years old and I will be 23 in November. I have been living and studying in Gujarat (Ahmedabad) since my birth. I am from middle class family. I like studying since i came to know about it. I like to learn a lot from my teachers at my early study days. I can't remember my first days of school because i was around 5 years old but few things the school area, teachers name (Meena Teacher), school common plot and few friends like Neeta, Khusali, JIgar, Naresh, Sweta & Payal. We all studied together till 10th standard & had lots of fun.

I have done my schooling from Durga Higher Secondary School. I have also completed my graduation from Nav Gujarat Collage of Commerce.My area's interest are teaching, computers net surfing, watching movies and playing games. And I am very passionate about my work whatever I choose to do I give my best. I am a teacher and teaching in standard 1 to 4 in Navsarjan School (Ranip). I have one brother (Jitendra) and two sister (Arti and Seema). My brother is 25th years old and sisters are 26th and 28th years old.

I was enjoying my college life with my friends. We always have fun at the college with my group. We always goes for snacks at cantine near my college. We always play a game for the snacks. I always like to win but sometimes not because not every time 1 can win. We guys have lots of fun and enjoying my success moments. At the time of exams we all miss each other and waiting for the exams to pass by and let us meet again. We all got good percentages in college and then we lost each other in the race of our life. Presently we all are not getting time to meet each other once in a month. Sometimes meet but as per the routine work we dont have enough time for fun.
